Long Exposure Photography

This work interrogates the body as an unstable entity, caught in the threshold between presence and disappearance. Drawing conceptual inspiration from historical spirit photography the long exposure and duplication actively interrupt the gaze by rendering the physical form unfixed. Through deliberate blur and distortion, the imagery resists conventional visibility and destabilises the act of looking.
