About The Artist

I am a mixed media artist currently based in Surrey, where I am developing my practice at UCA. My work is built on the idea that our internal worlds deserve a physical form. I am interested in how I can take a feeling that is hidden and turn it into something an audience can see and stand in front of.

I do not stick to one medium because I do not think our emotions stay in one place either. I use abstract painting when I need to be visceral and messy, or text when I want to give the viewer a clear point of connection. Sometimes the work needs to be small like a zine, and other times it needs to take over a whole room to truly communicate a mood.

Asking myself Why Not? is the core of how I work. It keeps me moving and stops me from overthinking the process. By mixing different textures and materials, I try to create pieces that feel real, turning a quiet thought into a physical reality that can be felt.
